1. Information We Collect

Scary Snowman TV may collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, newsletter subscription choice, community username, public display name, selected or uploaded profile picture, comments, ratings, optional verified Solana wallet address and wallet-registration consent record, inquiry details, video-submission information, licensing details, and communications. Members may authenticate with ChatGPT or create an email-and-password account through our authentication provider, Supabase. Passwords are handled by the authentication provider and are not stored in the Scary Snowman TV community database. Your email and registered wallet are not displayed publicly as part of your community profile.

Our first-party measurement system records an anonymous browser identifier, an anonymous session identifier, the page viewed, referring page, campaign tags in the URL, timestamps, and selected actions such as newsletter signup, account creation, profile completion, comments, ratings, shares, and contact submissions. It does not intentionally store your IP address or browser user-agent in the analytics event record. Hosting and security providers may separately receive standard technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, approximate location derived from IP address, timestamps, and diagnostic logs. Information collected depends on the features you choose to use. The in-development social integration is not represented as publicly launched.

2. TikTok Information

If you choose to connect TikTok to Scary Snowman Social Hub, the initial integration is read-only. Subject to the permissions you approve and TikTok's availability, it may access basic profile data, extended profile information, account statistics, and listings or metadata for public videos.

Examples may include display name, username, avatar, profile description, verified status, follower and following counts, like or engagement statistics, public video identifiers, captions, cover images, publication dates, durations, and public performance statistics. TikTok publishing is disabled. The integration does not publish, edit, or delete TikTok content.

3. OAuth Authorization and Tokens

TikTok connection uses OAuth authorization. You are sent to TikTok to review and approve requested permissions; Scary Snowman TV does not ask for or receive your TikTok password. Authorization credentials and tokens are intended to be stored securely on the server and are not intentionally exposed in browser code, public pages, URLs, logs, or client-side storage.

You may decline authorization or revoke Scary Snowman Social Hub through TikTok's connected-app settings. Revocation stops future authorized access, subject to normal processing time and any information that must be retained for legal, security, or recordkeeping reasons.

4. How We Use Information

Information may be used to operate and secure the website; create and manage community accounts; send the short welcome email series and subsequent monthly newsletter to people who subscribe; measure which campaigns and pages bring visitors, signups, and active community members; display usernames, profile pictures, comments, and ratings that members intentionally make public; verify wallet ownership and maintain an optional list for possible future $FROST community distributions; provide requested features; display authorized read-only TikTok account and public-video information; respond to inquiries; manage submissions, licensing, and business relationships; troubleshoot errors; prevent abuse; maintain records; improve performance and usability; and comply with legal obligations.

Wallet registration does not guarantee eligibility, timing, amount, value, or receipt of any airdrop. Scary Snowman TV does not use the TikTok integration to publish content or to impersonate users.

5. Sharing and Service Providers

Information may be disclosed to vendors that provide hosting, databases, authentication, analytics, email, security, storage, error monitoring, or other technical services. Supabase provides email-account authentication, while ChatGPT provides an optional separate sign-in method. These providers may process information only as needed to perform their services and under applicable contractual or legal obligations.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate fraud or abuse, or in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or transfer of business assets. TikTok information is also governed by TikTok's own terms and privacy practices. We do not sell TikTok user data.

6. Retention and Deletion

Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including operating the requested feature, maintaining security, resolving disputes, meeting contractual obligations, and complying with law. Retention periods vary by the type of information and the reason it was collected.

Signed-in members may use the account page to remove a registered wallet or delete their public community profile, uploaded profile picture, comments, ratings, and wallet registration. A separate request may be needed to delete the underlying identity-provider record. Signed agreements, licensing records, fraud-prevention records, or other limited information may be retained when legally or operationally required. To request additional deletion, email jay@scarysnowman.com with the subject “Privacy Deletion Request.” We may need to verify your identity. You should separately revoke TikTok authorization in TikTok's settings.

7. Security

Scary Snowman TV uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information, including access controls, server-side secret management, transport encryption where supported, restricted credential access, one-time expiring wallet challenges, and operational monitoring. Wallet verification requests only a signed message. Scary Snowman TV does not request or store wallet seed phrases, private keys, or token approvals. Client keys, client secrets, and access tokens are not intentionally published or exposed.

No online system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security or uninterrupted availability.

8. Cookies, Local Storage, and Similar Technologies

The website and its service providers may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for authentication, security, preferences, session continuity, performance, and measurement. Our first-party measurement stores a random browser identifier in local storage and a random session identifier and campaign tags in session storage. The measurement code does not run when the browser sends an enabled Do Not Track signal or Global Privacy Control signal. Browser controls may allow you to block or delete cookies and local storage, but doing so may prevent some features or measurement from working correctly.

9. Children’s Privacy

The website and Scary Snowman Social Hub are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

10. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of certain personal information, or to withdraw consent. Newsletter subscribers may opt out using the unsubscribe method included with newsletter messages or by submitting a privacy request. Members may remove a registered wallet from the account page, and may disconnect TikTok at any time through TikTok's authorization settings. We will respond to valid requests as required by applicable law and may ask for identity verification.
